The Ukrainian tandem with the Frenchwoman Garcia lost to the Czech-Croatian duo Pliskova-Vekic
Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk and a Frenchwoman Carolyn Garciawho played together for the first time, failed to qualify for the second round of the doubles tournament WTA 1000 in American cincinnati.
The tandem of the third racket of Ukraine and the sixth racket of the world was stopped by the duo Karolina Pliskova (Czech Republic) – Donna Vekic (Croatia). The uncompromising fight lasted three sets and took almost an hour and a half.
