Sventek reached the quarter-finals of the tournament in Cincinnati, Rybakina withdrew from the match against Paolini

The world’s first racket Iga Schwentek reached the quarter-finals of the tennis tournament in Cincinnati (USA).

In the third round, the Pole defeated the representative of China Zheng Qingwen – 3:6, 6:1, 6:1. The tennis players spent 2 hours and 10 minutes on the court.

In the quarterfinals, Šventek will face Marketa Vondrousova of the Czech Republic.

The representative of Kazakhstan Elena Rybakina (4th WTA ranking number) completed her performance at the tournament. She withdrew in the second set of the match against the Italian Jasmine Paolini.
