Athletistic/Tennis. Kazakh tennis player Elena Rybakina, winner of Wimbledon 2022 and fourth racket in the world, was forced to retire during the third round match of the WTA-1000 category tournament in Cincinnati (USA).

In the third round of the competition, she faced Italy’s Yasmina Paolini (Q), ranked 43rd in the world rankings. Rybakina won the first set 6-4. However, in the second match she lost 2:5 and at that time she decided to leave the pitch due to a shoulder injury.

The duration of the match was 1 hour and 16 minutes. During the match, Rybakina made four deposits from start to finish, double faulted and managed to convert two out of seven break points. Paolini, in turn, completed two aces, double faulted and made facing two break points out of nine possible.
