19-year-old American wins the biggest title of her career
American tennis player Coco Gauff became the winner of the tournament WTA 1000 V Cincinnati.
In the final, 19-year-old Gauff defeated the representative of the Czech Republic Karolina Muchova. The fight lasted almost two hours.
For the entire match, Koko converted 5 out of 8 break points, giving her opponent 3 games on her serve. Also, the American made six double faults (Czech – five).
Gauff won her fifth career WTA title and third in 2023. This season, Koko also triumphed in Oakland and Washington.
Muchova has one WTA title left. Recall that in June, the Czech lost to Iga Sventek in the final of Roland Garros 2023.
