Ukrainian beat American Sophie Chung in straight sets
Ukrainian tennis player Katerina Beindl continued her victorious path in the tournament WTA 125 in American Chicagoadvancing to the quarterfinals.
The Ukrainian beat US representative Sophie Chang in straight sets. The meeting lasted almost two hours.
The first set was very difficult for Katerina – her opponent was leading 4:1, then she was the first to take the fifth and sixth points. But in the end, the tie-break ended with the triumph of the Ukrainian athlete. The second set was already with the advantage of Beindl. She led 3-0, then Chang took two games in a row, but this local success was her last.
