Athletistic/Tennis. Spanish tennis player Rebeca Masarova successfully overcame the first stage of the US Open. In the first round of the US Open, Masarova beat eighth-seeded Maria Sakkari of Greece 6:4, 6:4. The duration of the match was 1 hour 27 minutes.
Masarova landed four aces, avoided double serve errors and effectively used all three opportunities to take her opponent’s serve. While Sakkari had three assists, double faulted and converted a break point.
In the second round of the US Open, Masarova will face Slovak Anna Shmidlova.
