Athletistic / Tennis Former Serbian ATP No. 1 Novak Djokovic says he hasn’t changed his mind about getting a coronavirus shot which could prevent him from playing in the US Open.

Remember that the rules of entry into the United States impose on people the obligation to be vaccinated.

“Has my opinion on vaccination changed? No.

Under current regulations, I will be denied entry into the United States. It will be an extra motivation for me to perform well at Wimbledon. I hope to succeed. I would like to participate in the US Open, but for the moment it is not possible. It’s not in my power to change anything,” Djokovic said as quoted by Straits Times.

Recall that the Serb has already missed one of the Grand Slam tournaments this season – the Australian Open – due to a refusal to get vaccinated.
