German tennis player Alexander Zverev accused a fan at the US Open of quoting Adolf Hitler during a fourth-round match against Italian Yannick Sinner.
According to Tennis.com, in the fourth set, at 2-2, Zverev turned to tower referee James Keotavong, saying the viewer had just “said Hitler’s most famous line” before adding “It’s unacceptable, it’s unbelievable”. The exact words spoken by the fan are not named.
