Multiple American Grand Slam winner Serena Williams said she was not thinking about ending her career and that her absence from tournaments was due to her recovery.

Williams had previously announced his participation in Wimbledon. The former first racket in the world received a wild card from the organizers.

Russian and Belarusian tennis players have been suspended from participation in Wimbledon by decision of the organizers due to the situation in Ukraine. Earlier, tournament representatives said the ban only applies to the current season.

The main draw competitions of the tournament will take place from June 27 to July 10.
