Multiple Grand Slam winner Rafael Nadal could return to court before the end of 2023.
According to Tennis Channel, Spain captain David Ferrer has said Nadal plans to return to the court in November for the Davis Cup should the team qualify for the final.
The 37-year-old has not entered the court since January 18, when he lost in the second round of the Australian Open. In June, Nadal underwent lower back surgery.
Earlier, the 22-time Grand Slam winner announced his intention to retire next season.
