Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic tied Australian Margaret Court’s record for most Grand Slam singles victories.
On Sunday, the 36-year-old Serbian won the US Open, beating the Russian in the final. Daniel Medvedev with a score of 6:3, 7:6 (5), 6:3.
This is Djokovic’s 24th major singles victory. He leads the men in this indicator, two titles ahead of his closest pursuer, and equals Court, record holder in the history of tennis.
The Serbian has won the US Open four times in his career, the Australian Open 10 times, Wimbledon seven times and Roland Garros three times.
