Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic became the winner of the men’s singles at US Open 2023.
In the final, Novak beat the third racket of the tournament, Daniil Medvedev, in three sets. The second game turned out to be the most intense, which lasted one hour and 45 minutes and ended with the Serb’s victory in a tiebreaker.
Djokovic won 24th Grand Slam title and repeated the record of Australian Margaret Court. The Serbian tennis player is now two major trophies ahead of Spain’s Rafael Nadal and four ahead of Switzerland’s Roger Federer in the number of men’s majors won.
