The Serbian, multiple Grand Slam winner Novak Djokovic returned to first place in the ranking of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), an updated version of which was published on the organization’s website.
Djokovic won the US Open on Sunday, beating Russian Daniil Medvedev in the final. The Serbian scored two thousand ranking points and ousted Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz from the first row.
Medvedev retained third place and the title of Russia’s first racket, US Open quarter-finalist Andrei Rublev climbed two positions and became sixth.
