The Women’s Tennis Association’s list of top athletes has seen significant changes since the end of the US Open.

Iga Swiatek is no longer the world number one. The Polish representative was unable to defend the points he earned last year at the US Open and lost his lead.

The finalist of the tournament is now on top – Belarusian Arina Sabalenka. The winner of the last major of the season, American Corey Goff, holds third place.

As for the representatives of Ukraine, our best tennis player remains Elina Svitolina, who rose one step and is now 25th.
