Athletistic / Tennis. Former world number one Yevgeny Kafelnikov spoke about Russian player Vera Zvonareva’s performance at the US Open. She and Germany’s Laura Siegemund reached the US Open final as a pairs pair, where they lost to Gabriela Dabrowski (Canada) and Erin Routliffe (New Zealand).

“Vera Zvonareva is simply great, she plays at a good level and also earns (decent) money, which is not so easy to do in the current situation. I am very happy for her,” Kafelnikov quotes at RIA Novosti.
