Former world number two Anastasia Myskina explained the failures of the Russian tennis player Andrei Rublev in the quarter-finals of Grand Slam tournaments.
Rublev lost to his compatriot Daniil Medvedev in the quarterfinals of the US Open with a score of 4:6, 3:6, 6:4.
“It’s not just a matter of psychology, he is inferior to the top three – Djokovic, Alcaraz and Medvedev. In order to take the next step, he needs to add various elements of the game, including going to the net more often, said Metaratings.ru quoting Myskina.
For the 25-year-old tennis player, this defeat was the ninth of his career in the quarter-finals of a Grand Slam tournament.
