Kalinina won this match. She beat her opponent in three sets – 7:6 (7:4), 0:6, 6:3. The tennis players spent two hours and 32 minutes on the court.
So, for Karolina Pliskova, the San Diego tournament is over. Angelina Kalinina advanced to the second round. Her opponent will be another Czech tennis player Barbora Krejcikova.
