Guido Pella announces his RETIREMENT with a MEANINGFUL message

At 33 years old, the man from Bahia decided to end his more than deserved career. He won the 2016 Davis Cup and reached the Top 20.

Sad news for Argentine tennis: Guido Pella announced his retirement from tennis. The 33-year-old from Bahia, who just fell in the first round of US Openannounced his decision through a heartfelt message through social networks.

With a great mix of sensations and a great relief, I can say that I have decided to end my career as a professional tennis player.. The memory of the 2016 Davis Cup

Pella was a regular member of the Argentina team that won the legendary Davis Cup for the first time in our history. He did not participate in the final against Croatia (he was part of the squad that traveled to Zagreb) but scored important points in the three previous rounds.
