Today, the Polish tennis player managed to overtake Venus Williams, who won 35 in a row in 2000, and matched Monica Seles, whose winning streak was 36 games in 1990. Only Martina Hingis (37), Chris Evert (55), Margaret Court (57), Steffi Graf (66) and Martina Navratilova (74) edge out Swiatek.

Sviontek’s opponent in the second round of Wimbledon will be Dutch tennis player Leslie Kerkhove.
