The Ukrainian failed to make it to the finals
Ukrainian Nadezhda Kichenok And Anna-Lena Friedsam from Germany failed to make it to the final of the doubles tournament WTA 250 in Chinese Guangzhou.
The Ukrainian-German tandem could not defeat the Chinese pair Hanyu Guo / Xinyu Jiang. The meeting lasted one hour and 46 minutes.
The first set remained for Guo and Jiang (6:4). In the second game, Kichenok and Fridsam scored a break and took revenge (6:4). In the super tiebreak, both pairs had several match points, but luck eventually smiled on the duo from China – 15:13.
Let us note that last week Nadezhda Kichenok and Anna-Lena Friedsam became the doubles champions of the WTA 250 tournament in Osaka, Japan.
