Roxadustat was found in dietary supplements, leading to the athlete’s disqualification for four years. The tennis player’s lawyer, Bogdan Stoica, announced the appeal in court.

Halep reacts to Williams’ remarks after doping suspension

“We filed a lawsuit against the Canadian company about a month ago. The claim can only be compensation; it has no consequences for the sports company,” quotes lawyer Digi Sport.

According to the source, before his suspension, Halep received around $4 million per year from endorsement deals.
