Athletistic / Tennis. Russian tennis player Roman Safiullin reached the semi-finals of the ATP-250 tournament in Chengdu (China). The 55th racket in the world, Safiullin, advanced to the next stage of the tournament thanks to the refusal of his opponent.

In the quarter-finals, Safiullin met Australian Jordan Thompson. The Russian won the first set with a score of 7:6 (7:1), and in the second set Thompson refused to fight any further. In the second set, the opponents spent only six minutes on the court.

During the match, Safiullin made two aces, made a service error and did not convert a single break point. Thompson had five aces, never made a service error and failed to convert four break points.
