The former number one fell for his Cathedral debut and didn’t know what to answer when asked if this would be his last time at the All England Club.
Serena Williamswho lost this Tuesday in his debut at Wimbledonasked his future and said he didn’t know what he would do or if it would be his last Wimbledon. “I can’t answer that question”Serena said when asked if this was her last Wimbledon. “I don’t know what I’m going to do. I live every day. I play every day”He added.
The American, a seven -time All England Club winner, fell in a third set super tie break to Harmony Tan of France, in their first singles match in a year.
“Definitely better than last year,” Serena jokes, after 2021 she injured her leg after playing only six games in the first round.
If she would be happy if this was her last memory of Wimbledon, it was clear to Serena: “Obviously not, definitely not. But I gave everything I could. You want to go back to training, because you’ve been very close. It gives you the feeling that you can if you want to (win games)”He added.
