Athletistic/Tennis. Former Russian tennis player Andrei Olkhovsky shared his opinion on the qualification of Russian Karen Khachanov to the semi-finals of the ATP tournament in Zhuhai (China).
“Before the start of the tournament, it was unclear in what form Karen is now. After two matches, I think Khachanov is getting back into shape, playing well and confidently. He showed decent tennis in previous matches.
His opponent in the semifinals Korda, in my opinion, does not show good results this season. Sebastian is a very interesting player who will attack, Karen will probably defend a lot. Karen, of course, has a chance to win, he must play consistently and at a pace that suits him,” Olkhovsky told RB Sport.
In the quarterfinals, Khachanov defeated American Mackenzie McDonald – 4:6, 6:4, 6:4.
