Athletistic/Tennis. The vice-president of the Russian Tennis Federation (RFF), Alexei Selivanenko, shared his opinion on the qualification of Russian Karen Khachanov for the semi-finals of the ATP tournament in Zhuhai (China).
In the quarterfinals, Khachanov defeated American Mackenzie McDonald – 4:6, 6:4, 6:4.
“Karen is basically only playing the second tournament after a fairly long break, so the very fact of victory and the quality of play are important here.
Further on the Korda grid? Sebastian is still a serious opponent, although, of course, this season is not the easiest for him either. It is all the more interesting to watch the upcoming match, which opens the way for Karen or Sebastian to the final of the tournament in a difficult season for each of them,” Selivanenko told RB Sport.
In the semi-final, Khachanov will face American Sebastian Korda.
