Russian tennis player Diane Schneider reached the semi-finals of the WTA 250 tournament in Ningbo, China.
In the quarterfinals, Schneider, ranked 85th in the WTA rankings, beat Czech Petra Kvitova, the tournament’s number two seed. The match lasted 2 hours 1 minute and ended with a score of 6:1, 4:6, 6:3.
The Russian will compete with another representative from the Czech Republic, Linda Frukhvirtova, to reach the final.
