Russian tennis player Veronica Kudermetova improved its position in the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) rankings, an updated version of which was published on the organization’s website.
The Russian gained three places and now occupies 16th place. On Sunday, Kudermetova became the winner of the WTA tournament in Tokyo.
Competition finalist in Ningbo, China Diane Schneider swapped 22 positions and rose to 63rd place. Tokyo tournament semi-finalist Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova moved from 86th to 62nd place.
The best position among Russian tennis players is occupied by Daria Kasatkina (13th). The ranking is still headed by the representative of Belarus Arina Soboleva, the second is the Polish Iga Schwiatek, and the American Cori Gauff closes the top three.
