Athletistic/Tennis. In the quarterfinals of the WTA-1000 tournament in Beijing (China), the fifth world racket from Kazakhstan Elena Rybakina beat the first world racket from Belarus Arina Sabalenko. The match score was 7:5, 6:2 in favor of Rybakina.

The match lasted 1 hour 34 minutes. During the match, Rybakina made 12 aces, converted four out of nine break points and committed only one double fault. Sabalenka had four aces, a successful break and eight double faults.

In the semi-final, the Kazakh tennis player will face the 22nd Russian world racket, Lyudmila Samsonova. They have already met three times – in the first round (2021) and semi-final (2023) in Montreal, as well as in the first round in Tokyo (2022). All three matches ended in victory for the Russians.
