Tsurenko and Volodko reached the finals of the qualifying tournament in Zhengzhou

Both Ukrainians achieved confident victories in two sets

Ukrainian tennis players Lesya Tsurenko And Katerina Volodko successfully started in the tournament qualifications WTA 500 in Chinese Zhenzhou.

Tsurenko beat Ulrike Eikkeri from Norway. Volodko turned out to be stronger than Erin Routliffe from New Zealand.

Lesya Tsurenko met with the Norwegian for the third time in her career and for the first time managed to celebrate the victory. Our tennis player only needed two sets to reach the qualifying finals; she lost only four games to her opponent.

Volodko also did not experience any serious problems in her confrontation. She won both games with a score of 6:3, the match lasted exactly an hour.

In the qualifying final, Tsurenko will meet with Japanese Moyuka Uchijima. Volodko will fight with the winner of the Chinese confrontation between Xijia Wei and Xiaodi Yu for the right to advance to the main draw.
