Lesya Tsurenko failed to pass the third round barrier at Wimbledon. In the 1/16 finals match, the Ukrainian met with the German representative, Jule Niemeyer.
Our tennis player confidently started the meeting and won his opponent’s first two serves, but then Tsurenko’s game went wrong, and he didn’t retain the advantage, given the first set with a score of 4: 6.
In the second period, the Ukrainian found his game again, and he was able to take it to his 6: 3 victory. However, the Ukrainian does not have enough strength for the decisive set. For the entire set, Tsurenko didn’t win a serve.
As a result, the duel, which lasted two hours and five minutes, was won by the Germans – 6: 4, 3: 6, 6: 3. Tsurenko filed three aces for the game and made 11 double faults simultaneously.
