Angelina and Romanian Begu lost to the 11th seed
Ukrainian Angelina Kalinina and Irina-Camellia Run from Romania were defeated at the start Doubles Wimbledon 2022.
In the match of the first round, the Ukrainian-Romanian pair lost to the 11th seed – Poland’s Alicia Rosolskaya and Erin Rutliff from New Zealand.
For the entire match, Kalinina and Begu converted two of the four breakpoints, giving the opponents four games on their serve. Also Angelina and Irina made four double faults.
Yesterday, Kalinina left the Wimbledon singles, losing to Lesya Tsurenko in the second round – 6:3, 4:6, 3:6.
