Daria Snigur reached the quarterfinals of the tournament in French Calvi. The 20-year-old tennis player defeated the courts mistress Marina Shostak in the second round match at the 25,000th ITF.
The Ukrainian, who has a high second seed in the competition, had no problem giving his opponent just three games.
