Nick Kirios received a large fine from the organizers of Wimbledon. The Australian is to pay $10,000 for spitting at a fan and calling a linesman a ‘snitch’ during a match with Britain’s Paul Jubb, according to the Canberra Times.
Previously, Kirios was fined $60,000 for inappropriate behavior at two major ATP tournaments in the United States.
The Australian continues his strong performance at Wimbledon. He beat 28th seed Filip Krajnovic to advance to the third round of the tournament.
