Athletistic/Tennis. The Israeli Tennis Association published on its social networks that it had contacted the WTA to file a complaint against Tunisian tennis player Ons Jabeur, world number seven and three-time Grand Slam finalist, due to her statements in favor of the Palestine.

Avi Peretz, president of the Israel Tennis Association, said: “This tennis player incites aggression and supports a murderous terrorist organization. We are happy that she is in the minority compared to normal athletes around the world. We strengthen the security forces and support the rescuers and pray that with God’s help they return home.”

“Since Jabeur is acting under the auspices of the WTA, this organization is the body responsible for reviewing this matter. Now we, along with the ITF, are waiting to see what action will be taken against Jabeur,” the message also states.
