Athletistic/Tennis. Former Swedish tennis player Mats Wilander has shared his opinion on why Serbian Novak Djokovic performs so well on grass.

“What Novak does better than anyone on grass is defending. Defending on grass is not easy. Roger Federer was great, of course, but in a different way. He changes his punch. It’s amazing how he can move,” Wilander said.

Novak Djokovic currently plays at Wimbledon, whose matches are played on grass courts. In the first and second rounds of the tournament, the Serb beat South Korean Kwon Sun-woo (6:3, 3:6, 6:3, 6:4) and Australian Tanasi Kokkinakis (6:1, 6: 4, 6:2), respectively. In the third round of the Wimbledon tournament, Novak will play with fellow countryman Miomir Kecmanovic. The meeting will take place on July 1, starting at 5:00 p.m. Moscow time.
