Ukrainian tennis players had a different start to the WTA 250 series competitions in Cluj-Napoca.
Anastasia Soboleva completed her performances at the WTA 250 series tournament in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. The Ukrainian tennis player, who succeeded in the qualifications, could not beat Anna Bondar from Hungary, although she won the first game. Note that for the 19-year-old Soboleva this is the first match at the main WTA tournaments.
Meanwhile, Daria Snigur passed the first round barrier. In the opening match, the Ukrainian defeated third seed Gret Minnen from Belgium. The match, which lasted only 67 minutes, ended with Snigur winning in two sets.
