The Ukrainian defeated the German Anna-Lena Friedsam in three sets
Ukrainian tennis player Daria Snigur reached the quarter finals of the tournament WTA 250 in Romanian Cluj-Napoca.
In the second round of the tournament, the Ukrainian defeated her opponent from Germany, Anna-Lena Friedsam. The tennis players spent 1 hour and 39 minutes on the court.
In the first set, Snigur left no chance for the German, winning to zero – 6:0. In the second set, Friedsam managed to convincingly return to the game – 6:1. And in the decisive game, the Ukrainian first missed a match point on her serve, but still turned out to be stronger, making three breaks – 6:4. Interestingly, this was the first meeting between the rivals.
In the next round of the tournament in Cluj-Napoca, Snigur will play against the winner of the match Tamara Korpacz – Jodie Barrage.
