The Ukrainian-Latvian duo defeated the British Dart and Watson in three sets
Ukrainian tennis player Lyudmila Kichenok and Elena Ostapenko left Latvia for Wimbledon doubles quarter-finals.
In the 1/8 finals, the Ukrainian-Latvian duet, which received the fourth seed, beat Britons Harriet Dart and Heather Watson. The fight lasted two hours and 16 minutes.
Over the entire match, Kichenok and Ostapenko converted six out of 18 breakpoints and made nine double faults.
In the quarterfinals, Lyudmila and Elena will play with eight seeded Shuko Aoyama and Zhang Haoqing. The match is scheduled for July 5th.
In June, Kichenok and Ostapenko won the doubles tournament in Birmingham on the refusal of their rivals. The week before last, they withdrew from the tournament final in Eastbourne.
