Anisimova and Tomlyanovic became Wimbledon’s last quarter-finalists

Australian tennis player Aila Tomlyanovitch beat the Frenchwoman in three sets Alize Cornet in the 4th round match at Wimbledon.

The meeting ended in 2 hours 37 minutes. After losing the first set, Tomlyanovic made 7 breaks in the second and third sets. The Aussie double faulted and never managed to qualify.

Tomlyanovic’s quarter-final opponent will be Kazakhstan’s Elena Rybakina.

In another encounter, American Amanda Anisimova defeated France’s Armoni Tan in straight sets to advance to her first quarter-final of the tournament. Anisimova at this point will play with Simonov Halep.
