Djokovic beats Rune in the first round of Group A at the 2023 ATP Finals

The match lasted three hours and six minutes

Serb Novak Djokovic started with a victory ATP Finals 2023which takes place in Turin (Italy).

In his first match at the tournament, Novak beat Holgera Rune from Norway. The meeting lasted three hours and six minutes.

The opponents exchanged tiebreak victories in the first two sets. In the decisive game, Djokovic scored two breaks, giving only one of his serves to the opponent – 6:3.

Let us remind you that one match has already taken place in Group A. Italian tennis player Jannik Sinner beat Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas.

Today in Turin there will be two matches of Group B. At 15:30 Kyiv time, Carlos Alcaraz and Alexander Zverev will meet. At 22:00 two tennis players will fight under a neutral flag – Daniil Medvedev and Andrey Rublev.
