Russian tennis player Alexander Shevchenko rose from 63rd to 49th place in the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) rankings, an updated version of which was published on the organization’s website.
Last week, Shevchenko lost to Frenchman Hugo Humbert (3:6, 3:6) in the final of the tournament in Metz, France. The 22-year-old native of Rostov-on-Don played in the final of an ATP tournament for the first time in his career.
Serbian Novak Djokovic is still at the top of the rankings. Remains the best among Russian tennis players Daniel Medvedev which occupies third place.
