Alexey won in the main draw for the first time since October 4
Ukrainian tennis player Alexey Krutykh made it to the second round of the tournament ATP Challenger Tour 75 in Danderyd, Sweden.
The representative of Kazakhstan, Mikhail Kukushkin, did not become a serious obstacle for the third racket of Ukraine. It took Krutykh less than an hour to win in two sets.
In the first set, Kukushkin tried to force a fight, but he was finally broken by a lost serve with the score 2:4. In the second game, Alexey lost only one game to his opponent, converting a match point on the third attempt.
Thus, Krutykh won in the main draw for the first time since October 4. During the indicated period, he suffered successive failures in the first rounds of tournaments in Hamburg, Brest, Ismaning and Helsinki.
For the right to advance to the quarterfinals, the 23-year-old Ukrainian will fight with the winner of the duel between Radu Albot (Moldova) and Francesco Passaro (Italy).
