Athletistic/Tennis. Former world number nine Andrei Chesnokov commented on Daniil Medvedev’s victory over Andrei Rublev (6:4, 6:2) in the opening match of the group stage of the ATP Finals tournament.
“Medvedev has a very good chance of reaching the semi-finals of the tournament. I think Rublev should not get depressed, because the level of play was simply phenomenal.
I saw that Rublev, having lost this match, had a very good chance of winning the next two matches. He’s good. The match was simply incredible. It’s space. Everything is just beginning,” Chesnokov told SE.
Rublev’s next opponent in Turin will be Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz.
