The Italian achieved his second victory in two matches
Jannik Sinner won a second victory in Group A at ATP Finals 2023which takes place in Turin, Italy.
The Italian beat the world number one in a long match Novak Djokovic. The meeting lasted three hours and 11 minutes.
The first set went to Sinner (7:5), but in the second game Novak defeated his opponent in a tiebreaker. In the decisive set, the opponents exchanged breaks, and Yannick had the final word in the tiebreak – 7:2.
Earlier in Turin, Sinner beat Stefanos Tsitsipas, thanks to which he topped Group A. Today, two meetings of Group B will take place – Carlos Alcaraz will fight with Andrey Rublev, and Daniil Medvedev will face Alexander Zverev.
The two best tennis players from the quartet will advance to the playoffs. The final tournament in Turin, Italy will end on November 19.
