Alexey lost to the seventh racket of the tournament, Radu Albot, in two sets
Ukrainian tennis player Alexey Krutykh lost in the second round of the tournament ATP Challenger Tour 75 in Danderyd, Sweden.
In the 1/8 finals match, Alexey was unable to break the resistance of Moldavian Radu Albot, who is located 110 positions higher in the ATP rankings.
In the first set there was an equal and tense fight. Krutykh, with the score 3:2 in his favor, did not take advantage of a break on his opponent’s serve three times, and then dramatically lost on his own. In the second game, Radu prevailed more easily – 6:2, although in some games the Ukrainian resisted more than adequately.
Let us remind you that in the first round of the Swedish tournament, Krutykh confidently defeated Mikhail Kukushkin from Kazakhstan. This victory was Alexey’s first in the main draw since October 4.
