The Ukrainian lost to the seventh seeded Elizabeth Mandlik from the USA.
Ukrainian tennis player Yulia Starodubtseva was defeated in the quarterfinals of the tournament WTA 125 in the Chilean city of Colina.
The Ukrainian lost to American Elizabeth Mandlik in a two-set match that lasted more than a hundred minutes.
In the first game, Yulia managed to come back from a score of 1:3, then brought the matter to 6:6, but in the tiebreaker the US representative was stronger – 7:1.
In the second game, Mandlik was able to take a 4:1 lead, and Starodubtseva was no longer able to come back from this score.
Let us remind you that in the main draw of the Chilean tournament, Starodubtseva defeated first the fourth seeded Sara Errani from Italy, and then the representative of Argentina, Guillermina Naya.
