The fight didn’t decide anything – both tennis players remained outside the playoffs
German tennis player Alexander Zverev beat Andrey Rublevplaying in a neutral status, in the third round of Group B at The final tournament ATP Finals-2023 in Turin.
It took Zverev 1 hour and 42 minutes to win in two sets. Alexander won both games with the same score 6:4, completed 10 serves, and used three of seven break points.
This victory was the German’s second in three rounds of the group stage, but this result did not allow him to qualify for the semi-finals. From this quartet, the Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz and the “neutral” Daniil Medvedev advanced to the playoffs.
Rublev finished the tournament with zero points and without a single set won.
Alcaraz will play against Novak Djokovic in the semi-finals, and Medvedev will meet with Italian Jannik Sinner.
