Russian tennis player Daniel Medvedev assessed his game before the semi-final match of the ATP Finals tournament.
On Friday, the third racket in the world, Medvedev lost to Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz with a score of 4:6, 4:6, the Russian will compete with Italian Jannik Sinner to reach the final of the tournament.
“I would give myself an 8.5, which is a pretty good mark, but it’s not enough to beat Carlos.” Like I said, you can’t lose a match before the semi-finals. Losing a match is not the best feeling. Your body reacts differently. Now I have to regroup,” Medvedev said, as quoted by the official ATP website.
The other pair in the semi-final was Alcaraz and Serbian Novak Djokovic. The semi-finals will take place on Saturday, the final will take place on Sunday.
