Former world number nine Andrei Chesnokov believes the Russian Daniel Medvedev and Italian Jannik sinner equal chances of winning the semi-finals of the ATP final tournament, which takes place in Turin.
Saturday’s semi-final will begin at 4:30 p.m.
— I think the chances here are equal, 50 to 50. The outcome of the last two matches between Medvedev and Sinner was decided literally in two or three games, which remained in the hands of the Italian. Sinner will play at home with huge crowd support. It seems to me that Medvedev should approach this match with a new lease of life. He didn’t have any exhausting matches in this tournament. So he should play well in the semi-final,” quotes RB Sport Chesnokov.
In total, Medvedev and Sinner played eight matches, six of which the Russian won.
