Russian world number three Daniel Medvedev lost to the Italian Jannik sinner in the semi-final of the final tournament of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) in Turin.
The match ended with a score of 6:3, 6:7 (4:7), 6:1 in favor of the 4th number in the world ranking. The tennis players spent almost two and a half hours on the court.
Sinner will play in the final of the ATP Finals tournament for the first time. His opponent will be the winner of the meeting between world number one, Serbian Novak Djokovic, and world number two, Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz.
Medvedev became the winner of the final tournament in 2020.
